Our Abstract and Examination Department uses state-of-the-art abstracting software, and has over 85 years of combined experience in all Florida counties. GFTE&A, Inc. owns In-House back-plants for various counties including:

Cloud-based software
Many of our Governmental Agency clients require an earliest public record product which can be searched remotely via our cloud-based software providing us the luxury and advantage of performing searches and typing reports in our main office, satellite offices and affiliated Underwriter facilities.
A well defined beginning point
Our staff understands and can visually run out metes and bounds legal descriptions to better understand their appurtenance to the subject properties. To better verify legal descriptions, our Abstract Team employs Carlson Mapping Software for metes and bounds to verify closure and create maps.
A comprehensive sketch
Our Team then provides a comprehensive sketch of the subject property to our clients along with the respective report. Our Abstracting Staff has extensive experience working with Oil, Gas & Mineral Searches in the Southwest Florida counties of Lee, Glades, Collier and Hendry covering over 240,000 acres. These searches begin with the Land Patent and run to a current effective date.
Dually qualified
Our Title Examiners are dually qualified with abstracting and examination skills and also perform title searches, therefore; becoming fully immersed in the product from start to finish. These expedient steps allow GFTE&A, Inc. the ability to focus more time on the Quality Control task.
