Joseph R. Casacci, runs the Plantation, Florida office of Guaranteed Florida Title, Inc. He is founder and managing partner at JOSEPH R. CASACCI, P.A. Mr. Casacci has been a practicing attorney in Broward County for more than twenty-five years.
He concentrates in the areas of: real estate law, business transactional law, corporate law and personal injury. Mr. Casacci is admitted to practice in all Circuit and County Courts in the State of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a licensed Title Agent in Florida and currently Executive Vice-President of Guaranteed Florida Title, Inc. Mr. Casacci is a member of the Attorney’s Real Estate Council of Broward County, Florida, an organization comprising the best real estate lawyers in the area.
Due to his sterling reputation for serving his clients’ best interests, many Western New York law firms have affiliated with Mr. Casacci when they have clients requiring legal representation in Florida.
He has handled real estate from zoning, development, purchase and sale transaction, as well as title issues. He has obtained many large settlements in Personal Injury cases and is well known in the insurance industry, and has testified as an expert witness for insurance companies.
In addition, his advice and counsel is often sought by large business entities, some of which have engaged him as outside general counsel, including the Florida Panthers in 2002-2003, as counsel to General Manger Rick Dudley. Mr. Casacci has been a longtime Board of Director for the Florida Panthers Alumni.
Mr. Casacci has been actively involved in community service, serving Chairman of the Board of Directors for Charter school SunED High Schools in Oakland Park and Margate, Fl. He is also very active, within the Florida ice hockey community, currently serving as USA Hockey Director of Player Development for the State of Florida and the Statewide Amateur Hockey Association of Florida (SAHOF). He sits on the USA/SAHOF Statewide Disciplinary Committee, and is a Board member of SAHOF.
Mr. Casacci has also previously coached Varsity High School Hockey at St. Thomas Aquinas High School and currently is assistant Coach of the Varsity Girls Softball team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
A native of Buffalo, New York, Mr. Casacci received his Bachelors of Arts Degree from Canisius College, Buffalo, New York, and his Juris Doctor degree from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan.
